I am a pastor... ok an associate pastor. I live in what was rated as the worst city to live in. I am hoping to do my part in helping to change this city.

Random Thoughts

Here are some things that have been floating in my brain.

It is hard to be a thoughtful person, much easier to be lazy.

People like Pat Robertson and James Dobson are not as influential as they might think.

I can't wait to see the Narnia movie.

I can't believe that the majority of Christians are finally beginning to understand the Narnia books as being an allegory of Christian belief.

The UK is going to allow homosexual unions and although I do not agree with the life style, I have to admit that I think every person should be granted the same rights as everyone else; However, as a minister I would not marry a homosexual couple.

It might take a few years, but I will have an XBox 360 someday.

It is only a matter of seconds before Fundies claim that the huge fire in London is a direct result of allowing homosexual unions.

War is hell; war is wrong.

My fantasy football team is going deep in the playoffs.

I really like to preach.

Being a professed Evangelical Liberal is hard work.

Being a respectable human being is hard work.

I realize that Fundamentalist actually make my life easier due to the comic relief.

I miss my friends in KC but do not miss KC.

I hope every one has a Merry Christmas, especially those who do not believe in Christ.
