Life Catching Up To Me

If I could play guitar I would look like him. I know that the world has moved on since the last time I posted. I think it was the rigor of black history month that sapped all my energy away. Or it could have been the fact that my entire life has been thrown in the dryer and set on permanent press! Ok, ok, I have no idea what that means. All I can say is that I have been very busy and blogging took a back step in the ol' priority list... PDA thingy. All though I am tired and beaten, there is plenty of good news. I am being ordained on the 1st of June in the city of San Diego! Fun on multiple levels. Also my situation at church has gone from frustrating to fantastic and yet I work more! Actually our church is gong through a completely new discipleship program that originated in Columbia. So far we are in the midst of the greatest spiritual revival in our church in over 50 years! On top of that our city has elected a new mayor... A liberal. The mayor has a major plan to turn San Bernarghetto... I mean San Bernardino around! My church is in the middle of the revitalization project and it looks like the city is helping us finance the renovation of our old sanctuary into a gym so that we can have a community center for children and keep them off the street. San Bernardino ranks 18th on the list of worst cities to live in. Joy! However, it looks like we are in the process of receiving $150,000 dollars for the renovation. So between changing our entire church around including service times, teaching Bible in our private elementary school, Sunday School, re-writing curriculum, getting my picture in the paper, chatting with the mayor and being one of the stars in our Easter play... lets just say that a picture is worth a thousand words.
