The Dream Is Over... Thanks to Domanick Davis

This week has been a sad one for the Stewmister. The dream of hoisting the Socal Loco Fantasy Football League Trophy is over. I lost a close game in the semifinals due to the fact that one of best players decided that the swelling in his knee was to much for him to play on. I have defended pro athletes in the past, but this has gone too far. First Terrel Owens gets canned for the season and now this? Domanick Davis, how could you do this to me? I needed you out there. I actually tried to win those last few weeks in order to win the SLFFL Trophy. I kept you regardless of the trade offers and you stab me in the back. How am I supposed to celebrate Christmas this year? I had already planned the celebration dinner for Christmas Day with the hopes of displaying the SLFFLT for all to see. Now I will have to go to church and worship knowing that the best I can do is finish in third place. See you not only took away the SLFFLT away from me, but you have now taken away my worship to Almighty God! Are you happy now? Are you?

Random Thoughts

Here are some things that have been floating in my brain.

It is hard to be a thoughtful person, much easier to be lazy.

People like Pat Robertson and James Dobson are not as influential as they might think.

I can't wait to see the Narnia movie.

I can't believe that the majority of Christians are finally beginning to understand the Narnia books as being an allegory of Christian belief.

The UK is going to allow homosexual unions and although I do not agree with the life style, I have to admit that I think every person should be granted the same rights as everyone else; However, as a minister I would not marry a homosexual couple.

It might take a few years, but I will have an XBox 360 someday.

It is only a matter of seconds before Fundies claim that the huge fire in London is a direct result of allowing homosexual unions.

War is hell; war is wrong.

My fantasy football team is going deep in the playoffs.

I really like to preach.

Being a professed Evangelical Liberal is hard work.

Being a respectable human being is hard work.

I realize that Fundamentalist actually make my life easier due to the comic relief.

I miss my friends in KC but do not miss KC.

I hope every one has a Merry Christmas, especially those who do not believe in Christ.
